Galerie windows and wine

At Le Castelou, you can find out about the history of the dukes de Lévis-Mirepoix and their three chateaux that defined this part of France for centuries.

Discover how the duke Henri designed Le Castelou as a home to live with his mistress.

And in the gallery enjoy the amazing array of colours that come alive when the sun streams through Louis Gesta's stained glass windows. There is an air of romance about it - one that was shared by the loving couple a little over a century ago.

On occasions at "La Galerie de Léran" we have events such as art exhibitions and concerts of various musical styles, including singer-songwriters, classical quartets and jazz à la Django Reinhardt.

Marche Gourmand 3

Léran hosts a "Marchè gourmand" every Friday evening throughout July and August. This wonderfully convivial event is a chance to savour freshly cooked meat and vegetables from stall holders lining either side of tables set up in the middle of the village. You can also buy wine, bread and cheeses before sitting down to enjoy your meal.
